ARD Family Resource Centre’s mission is to empower families and individuals in the Ardaun, Roscam, and Doughiska areas of Galway City by offering a diverse range of services tailored to meet the community's evolving needs. The Centre is dedicated to providing accessible, one-to-one support where individuals can receive guidance, information, and referrals in a welcoming environment, with the goal of helping residents navigate challenges, access their entitlements, and connect with essential services to foster a sense of empowerment and well-being.

The Centre seeks to foster a thriving, inclusive community where health, wellness, and personal growth are prioritised. This is achieved through initiatives that promote physical activity, affordable counselling services, and targeted parenting programmes designed to strengthen family dynamics. Furthermore, the Centre encourages personal and social development through education and training opportunities.
A core focus of ARD Family Resource Centre is to promote community integration, fostering social cohesion by helping individuals from diverse backgrounds connect and participate fully in community life. By actively engaging with youth and creating tailored programmes, the Centre aims to create a supportive environment where every individual and family can reach their full potential, contributing to a vibrant and unified community.
