The Family Resource Centre National Forum CLG (FRCNF) vision is that all children, families and communities will actively participate and be included in a society that is free from prejudice, inequality, discrimination and exclusion, and which will contribute to their greatest possible well-being.
Family Resource Centre National Forum is the representative body for all the Family Resource Centres in Ireland (currently 121). The Family Resource Centre (FRC) programme is Ireland’s largest National Family and Community-based support programme, core funded by Tusla – The Child and Family Agency.
To support us in achieving this vision we are seeking a highly experienced CEO to work with the Voluntary Board of Directors of the FRCNF
This is a full-time (37hrs/week) Grade VIII post, salary commencing at €69,000. This National post will initially be based remotely with a view to establishing a National Office, subject to COVID-19 Government guidelines. It will also include travel based on requirements of the Voluntary Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify strategic opportunities that advance FRCNFs vision and that of its members both nationally and internationally.
- The development of a Business and Strategic plan for the FRCNF and to ensure its implementation together with the Board.
- To have knowledge and expertise in sourcing funding both national, European and Internationally to advance the work of the FRCNF and Family Resource Centre Programme.
- To ensure the Company meets all charity, constitutional, regulatory, and legal obligations
- To have a good understanding of financial management.
- Working to and with the voluntary Board of Directors.
- Management of projects and staff of the Family Resource Centre National Forum.
- Be a strong voice for our members and communities
- To promote the work of Family Resource Centres and continually seek opportunities to promote and develop the national model.
- To develop and ensure that all marketing materials and other communications accurately present the vision, mission and values of the Charity and company of Family Resource Centre National Forum
- A Third Level Qualification relevant to this post is desirable.
- Minimum of 5 Years paid Senior Managerial experience is essential
- Experience of work within the Community & Voluntary Sector is desirable
- Experience of representing, promoting, and advocating on behalf of services/ agencies/people is desirable.
